If you wish to be covered for these activities during your journey on a single trip, you must pay an extra premium.
If you take an annual travel insurance policy, 17 days cover for Winter Sports is included free of charge and any additional days can simply be added onto your policy for an additional premium.
Winter Sports cover on your policy covers you if you are skiing or snowboarding on-piste. You will not be covered by Winter Sports if you are racing, you are participating in a professional capacity, you go in areas designated as unsafe by resort management or where there is an avalanche in place.
