Q. What are the differences between an annual and single trip policy?
A. Annual multi-trip travel insurance is designed to cover a series of multi trips throughout the year. Single trip travel insurance is designed to cover a quick get away or family holiday.
Q. Is the meaning of 'Start Date' different for Single Trip and Annual Multi-Trip policies?
A. Yes. For Single Trips the Start Date is the date that you start your travel (ie. the date you leave home).
For Annual Multi-Trips the Start Date is the date that you would like your policy to commence.
Q. Is the meaning of 'End Date' different for Single Trip and Annual Multi-Trip policies?
A. The End Date is usually one of two following dates:
a) The date you return home, or
b) The date you wish your policy to expire.
For Single Trip policies, the End Date is usually the date that you return home.For Annual Multi-Trip policies, regardless of what you enter as the End Date, you will be quoted for a 12 month Annual Multi-Trip. Your End Date will be the date your policy expires.
Q. Do you cover loss of baggage?
A. Right Cover does provide cover for the loss of baggage, the limit you are able to claim up to will depend on the level of cover you want to purchase.ing your plan.
Q. Would my policy cover me against ill health or redundancy?
A. Our policy can cover you if you needed to cancel your holiday due to redundancy on the basis that you were not aware of this at the time the policy was purchased. Please refer to our policy wording document for a full list of general exclusions.
Q. Why am I being asked which country I am spending most time in?
A. We ask this so we can cover you correctly for your trip. We need to identify the country in which you plan to spend most of your time. If for any reason you are unsure, for example you have a flexible itinery, then this should simply be your best guess at the time you buy your insurance. This will not affect your premium or your cover. You do not need to tell us if you change your plans.

Q. Do I need an excess?
A. We offer you the option to waiver the excess on the policy, this means if you have to submit a claim there will be no excess deducted from the total reimbursed. Alternatively, if you choose not to waiver the excess the policy will be cheaper however it will mean an excess will be deducted in the event of a claim.
Q. What levels of excess can you provide?
A. There is three levels of excess available on our policy, these being; £50, £100 and nil.

Q. What is the maximum trip duration of an Annual Multi-Trip policy?
A. There are three options available - 30, 45 and 60. Prices will differ for each of these options.
Q. Can this be extended?
A. We are unable to extend an Annual Travel Insurance as this is designed to cover one year.

Q. What is the maximum age limit for a Single Trip policy?
A. We are able to offer travel insurance up to the age of 79 for single trip travel cover. The maximum duration available will depend on the age of the customer.
Q. What is the maximum age limit for an Annual Multi-Trip policy?
A. Right Cover can offer annual trip insurance up to the age of 64.
Q. Are there certain items that are excluded from any policy?
A. Before purchasing travel insurance for your holiday please ensure you read the policy wording to identify the full list of general exclusions.
Q. Can I purchase Right Cover travel insurance if I don't live in the UK?
A. In order to be viable for Right Cover Travel Insurance you must be a resident of the UK, this means you must have a UK residential address that is permanent.

Q. How long do I get to cancel my policy?
A. We are confident you will be happy with your policy however you are able to receive a full refund on your insurance as long as we are contacted in writing within 14 days of the policy being issued and prior to departure.
